Construction Underway at Daggett Triangle

What's that massive construction project at 7th and 16th streets?

David Baker Architects has designed this large project, which seems to have sprung up overnight.

The development will consist of two buildings with residential units atop flex and retail spaces. Located on the so-called "Daggett Triangle," it includes a new one-acre park open to the public that can be accessed by a mid-block pedestrian mews. Twenty percent of the 453 units will be affordable rental apartments. The project will be completed by summer 2016.

Designed by CMG Landscape Architects, the park will be owned by the City of San Francisco, but permanently maintained by the development. Amenities include a dog walk, as well as an event lawn and soft play surface. There will be a smaller public open space with outdoor seating for the corner café planned for the corner of 16th and Hubbell Streets.

Great news for CCA community members looking for green space in SF!
