Plans for New Student Housing in SF

posted Dec 15, 2016, 4:42 PM by Chris Bliss
In keeping with the goal of creating affordable student housing on and near the SF campus by 2021, CCA is proceeding with plans at 75 Arkansas Street. CCA trustee Simon Blattner is developing the property for the college.

The proposed four-story 228-bed structure was recently given the green light by the San Francisco Planning Commission. Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects (LMSA), the firm that designed CCA’s main SF campus building, will design the project. LMSA recently won the 2017 AIA Architecture Firm Award, the top honor a firm can receive from the AIA. Construction is expected to begin in the spring.

The Potrero View recently published an article about the plans.
