The San Francisco Planning Department has reviewed the college's plans to build new student residences at the corner of 8th and Hooper Street.

The project will be designed by Stanley Saitowitz / Natoma Architects. The plans call for tearing down three of the four buildings on the site. The existing 184 Hooper Street building on the site, which serves as CCA’s Graduate Center, will remain in place.

And if approved, the 188 Hooper Street development is expected to open in summer 2019.
