Work to Begin on Back Lot

  • Rezoning lot. Check.
  • Special Use District designation approved by Board of Supervisors. Check.
  • Environmental sampling and monitoring. Check.
  • Environmental approval by SF Department of Public Health. Check.
  • Property line moved. Check.

It's been a two-year process, but all the boxes have been checked. Work can now begin improvements on the back lot.

First up: surface repair.

Once fall semester classes end, let the jackhammers begin! In addition to repairing the surface to meet safety and accessibility standards, the college will address fencing, lighting, power, security, and access to the site.

The goal is to have the site ready for interim uses by May -- maybe even in time to stage the Annual Fashion Show.

Stay tuned!
